my hamster used to do the same thing and throw her poo onto the ground even when there wasn't another pet. 3 months later, it stopped. hamsters are kind of like neat freaks (they always clean themselves) , so i guess it just wants it's home to be poop-free and clean.

hamsters do scent, some greater beneficial than others. if u desire a hamster that would not scent as lots then get a short haired, the scent "sticks" to the long haired so as that they scent like urine lots. regardless, the cage will scent so it may be wiped sparkling a minimum of as quickly as a week each and every each and every now and then greater finding on the hamster and how frequently they use the bathing room. a sturdy thank you to maintain ur hamster smelling sturdy is via using a pine shavings using fact then ur hamster smells extremely greater clever than with different beddings and it obsorbs the scent. the quantity of scent is set via how frequently the cage is wiped sparkling and how nicely it is wiped sparkling. a sturdy thank you to bathe it is via sprinkling some baking soda on the backside of the cage then pouring slightly of vinegar then washing it out rather sturdy with water in the previous putting each and every thing back into the cage. any puppy keep will additionally sell some cleansing materials which will make it greater ordinary to bathe additionally.
