Does anyone know (FOR SURE) when "Children Of Men" comes out in theatres?

I'm getting conflicting results on websites. Yahoo movies used to say September 29th, but now they say December 25th. Rottentomatoes.com says both of those dates on the same page. Did they delay it? If so, why?
