I was just talking to an English guy. This is what he says about American women and Americans in general. That they are brash,ill mannered, self -centered, self-righteous, egotistical, lack witty sense of humor, speak American instead of the formal English language, lazy, allergic to hard work,and disrespectful and intolerant of other races.
However, I don't think that a lot of British hate the Americans.

I have traveled outside the U.S. on several occasions and was embarrassed to observe my fellow Americans' behavior. I saw inconsideration, loud, selfish demands, mockery of the inhabitants' dialect. The American way to foreigners is "it's all about me!" This is not a pretty sight to behold. The British are not obnoxious as we seem to be. It's really a pity.

we don't hate Americans, the problem for the english, as an Irish person who lives here, is the belief that America is the best, in England when a person is good at something they are expected to be modest about it, but Americans aren't and I think that is what winds them up. they don't like people who toot their own horn.

I have relatives in America and know the American people are nice, but mostly the English don't like the American government as they tend to interfere, wanted or not, in the lives and interests of other countries, in most cases making things worse then they needed to be. no offence, but the American government funded and trained Al-quida in the eighties and now we're all reaping the benefits of that. South Vietnam wanted to be invaded by North Vietnam because of the level of corruption in their own government, and one country tried to raise the price of banana's to america to pay their workers better, so America funded a coup by a communist government and caused the death, torture and rape of thousands of the citizens of that country, I can't remember the name off hand.
it's not Americans, it's the government.

and for the information of the person with the teeth comment, that hasn't been true for over a decade, I may be Irish, but I've lived in England for eighteen years and like them too.

whats all the hate. don't the british realize they are the one's that populated the original united states. thats why the northeast part of the USA is called "New England" .Just listen to the names of the places like..... hampshire, vermont, londonderry, berkshire, hereford e.t.c all those are british words/names. so they are hating themselves.
