Very Dicey. Northern and Coastal New England cool down very fast in the fall. Where as New York City gets fantastic weather that time of year.. Boston could be alot more questionable.
The most likely weather would be in the 50's or lows 60s. Temps in the 40's would not be out the question , nor would 70's. Its very unpredictable in Boston in either the spring or fall... Best advice is to plan for cool crisp weather, but dont be shocked at downright cold.

Could be kind of cool and rainy or warm and sunny.
Unpredictable weather can always be predicted for MA in fall.
Usually, the air is crisp and sunny during the day and nippy and cool at night. You'll definitely need a jacket!
Worth the chancey weather to see the fall foliage. It usually peaks there around late Sept.- early October.... but also depends on the weather, just like everywhere else.

Not to cool yet, probably around 50. Usually very nice, but make sure to pack a jacket or sweater if you're coming in!

Nice and it is beautiful because is fall to and the trees are losing their leaves. and it all looks yellow and orange.....Love it.......
