The nice guy wasn't good enough for you the first time around; but now that you've been slapped around, cheated on, and have 5 kids, all of a sudden that nice guy is perfect for you, even though he hasn't changed a bit. Why is that?

Because nobody wants her now that she has 5 children. She wants someone that will help her take care of her children. Don't fall for that trap no matter how much you are attracted to her. She should be ashamed of herself trying to use a man.

Let's just be real even though the guy maybe nice he still has his faults so lets not pre-judge. Secondly, the some women choose to want to be with a man who knocks them around and some women don't. Most women want nice guys but I guess nice guys have been hurt so much they just assume that most women will hurt them no matter how hard they try. This is why you have to get to know a person for yourself. Not all women are the same as the same with men. Its funny because men where I live don't want educated women and they prefer the woman to be dumb so that they can control them emotionally, mentally, physically, financially, spiritually, sexually, etc. It is sad when a woman works and the man just sits at home waiting for her to bring him the pay check. Life is too short for that crap. If you are a nice guy thats great. I hope that you do find a nice woman to be with just don't come to Oak Grove or else you will be in for a big disappointment. woman all say they want a nice guy but given a choice they will go with the so called Bad Bot 99% of the time. They say one thing and do another. They no once they have 5 kids that the bad boy type doesn't want them anymore so the settle on the nice guy.

I am a woman, but just like stupid men, there are stupid superficial women out there. I am sorry because I am going to take it that this is something that has or is happening to you. Don't go there unless your feelings are real and true......... what you described is 'settleing' someone settleing for what they can get, not what they want. And you are NOT a person to be settled for, you deserve the love first and for most, and you don't want or need someone that is just 'settleing', you deserve better and more then that. I hope you find her, because she exists and she wants you because she 'wants you' and not because you are the one left after all has been lost and gone. Blessed be.

That isn't always the case. I married the nice guy when I was 18. No kids and in college. We are still happily together.
