I am about to write a book about Middle School. Its a book with Drama, Fights, teasing, and a lot of things Middle School Kids Face. And its all true. I have all my friends with different names so these are real problems with real people.I keep a journal until the end of football season. there is a lot of drama at the games and just during the school year.Like Rumors. Reallationships, people breaking up and just random things. My journal will be turned into a book. I will kind of detail it more and not make it sound like a journal. It will just be a book. Do u think it is good enough?

Depends. How good a story teller are you? Remember, the reader wasn't there and did not see, hear, feel or smell the things you did. Make sure to paint the whole sensory picture with your words. Use good verbs, that's where the action is.

You have no experience writing a book and personal journals DO NOT make for scintillating reading. It will be difficult to turn this into a book, and the publishing world is a difficult one. Why don't you keep your journal going for your own use, and try for the school newspaper. Turn your experiences into something constructive and positive (instead of the anger you so obviously are experiencing), and go that route instead.

i'm appalled- i assume that that's an exceedingly undesirable supply and that no 'valid' agent worth his or her salt might even bear in ideas it. you're able to do extra helpful your self- 17K is approximately £10 in Britain, and that i understand that i might pay a shallowness press for a constrained print run for particularly no longer as much as this. i became as quickly as fortunate to locate a author with out an agent- I have been given a small advance, a extensive-unfold print run of 20K books, and 14% of the retail cost. they're assembly all the charges and have assigned me a publicist. I evaluate this might properly be a very honest deal, and that's evidence which you do no longer constantly want an agent. study the commerce press- in Britain, that's Writers information. i assume which you purely have have been given to ask your agent some very severe questions. wonderful luck.

hi, I think it's a great idea and a superb project; you should definitely publish this book!!! but just to protect friends and people involved in your journal you should maybe consider not just changing the names but made some things up, and omit some things and mixed it up a little, the important thing is the story & drama, but you gotta be careful about protecting people identities and reputations. Good Luck!!!!

Do I smell a movie??? hope so!

Hopefully. It seems good because I think that you're right about the whole Middle School thing. Maybe you should call it like 'A day in the life of a middle school girl.' or something like that. Good luck!!

Heck, with all the crappy books out there, if you believe your book is good enough, I am all for publishing it. Of course, you have to persuade a publisher willing to give you a chance. Best of luck.
