You dont say where the lumps are. But if she is retaining a lot of water she may have a problem with her kidneys, especially if it is every day. Does the swelling get any better when her feet are elevated. The best thing to do would be to get her to a doctor. If you dont have insurance and cant afford a private doctor most states and counties have health clinics or some state run hospitals that go according to your income. Check with your state health services to see what help they can get you.

Well you didn't say if your wife is heavy, if she is, that could be part of the swelling, or if she eats alot of salt in her food could also be the problem. About the lumps that you feel under her skin, it could just be celulite. In any case if she keeps hurting, you should try to get her to a Doctor.

Ive been looking up a lot of things for my chronic pain and that sounds like rheumatoid arthritis - i think, i dont know for sure and im not a dr. but she really should see an internist because chronic pain just gets worse if left untreated- just like anything else

Sometimes blood pools in the veins. She can go in and have the veins lazered and the blood will not pool anymore. These pools can also eventually become blood clots which are really dangerous. Get her to a doctor now.

Fill up the tub with really hot, soothing water. Then light a few candles and let her take a nice, relaxing bath. When she comes out, she'll feel really good. Hope I helped you and hope your wife gets better!!
