hey im a senior in marching band and to be honest, it's not one of the best places to be. the games can run late (which is not the safest time of the day) whoz gonna drop u off and pick u up, fights can break out pretty fast.
However if u really want to go, see if your mom will go with u to the first game. if she feels fine w/it then u can go to other games. but right now im recommending seeing your friends in a better place.

well perhaps you could see if your mom has plans tonight. ask her if she would like to go with you. you don't have to sit by her or do anything with her, but at least she would get the piece of mind knowing that you are behaving. No one would have to know that she is there with you, it could be your little secret. If she goes to this game, then she would be able to see what it is like there, and then would be better able to make a decision as to what to do for the rest of the football season.
I know that it might be hard for you to understand her reasoning if she says no, but it is important to remember that she is looking out for your best interest because she loves you very much, and she doesn't want anything to happen to you. Keep your chin up, and just roll with the punches.

Ask her for a kerfew, tell her the people you will be going with, who is driving, where you will be, and set a few times where you will promise to call and check in at home.

You might not have much luck if you have poor grades, or a history of discipline problems... you have to earn trust with your parents.

It sounds to me like you already know she wont or shes already said no.. the question is why... once you figure that out it will be a lot easier to figure out how to get her to (hopefully) change her mind..
