I have not heard of it until I saw it won a vma. They should be ashamed of what they did to HST's memory. They couldn't even get their facts strait. It makes me so mad they don't deserve a good book like Fear and Loathing. I hope they choke.

A7F rocks, and that particular song captures Hunter perfectly! "Fear and Loathing..." was most likely the springboard that put Thompson where he wanted to be: THE Gonzo Journalist of all time! Satirist Gary Trudeau, of Doonesbury fame, captured Thompson perfectly as Uncle Duke, bats and all. HST lived in a perpetual Bat Country, and A7F caught the essence, and dedicated the song to HST's memory. Bravo & Kudos to A7F. The entire album rocks, and that is saying something considering that there aren't too many great rock albums coming out anymore. (Strength of the World is a great song, too!)
