For immediate relief, an enema. For long term control of constipation you need more fiber in your diet. Also supplement with Metamucil on a daily basis. It is all natural. The people who recommended beans (that will only bloat you up and you will feel very uncomfortable) are off the mark. And pickle juice - yuck! Try a Fleet enema (it's all natural).

This worked for me in college where the food was like glue:
Down an entire quart of orange juice in about 5 minutes.
Give it about 2 hours. It will be a pretty normal experience rather than having the runs.

Prune or orange juice helps
Drink lots of water all day except one hour before meal and one hour after meal. This allows acids to do their job and are not diluted with liquids.
