I'm Indian and I don't like "Bollywood" movies because they so unrealistic and just plain crass! I absolutely despise all the song and dance that goes on, it makes the movie even more unbelievable and unrealistic. I've never seen a Hindi movie that even comes close, in terms of quality, to some of the gritty, realistic movies produced by Hollywood. I know for a fact that I am not the only one that feels like this, so not all Indians like Bollywood movies.

I am not Indian, I grew up watching Hollywood and frankly, I'm sick of the whole thing. I don't watch movies that show real life, I watch movies to escape from it and to laugh, cry, sing and dance. That's why I love Bollywood! Their movies are so enjoyable. The worst Bollywood movies are the ones that copy Hollywood. Who cares for Hollywood and their cynical, boring movies. Give me Bollywood any day.
Bollywood movies have dance scenes so that people can enjoy, and sing and dance. That's what I like the best about the movies. Bollywood movies without songs are so boring.

because Indian people have lots of parties in which they perform dances.now since you say in bollywood movies it would be because Indian movies have songs.some songs they dance and in some they cry,laugh,get married,etc.
