The liberals seem to feel that the conservatives are over reacting about this assassination movie. How do you think they'd feel if it were a movie about the murder of Ted Kennedy, George Soros, Ray Nagin, George Clooney, or Michael Moore? Do you think they'd still see no harm in it?

Thank you liberals for proving my point. You try to change the subject instead of answering the question. How would you feel if the movie were about the murder of a public person that you admire that is still alive?

I've never even heard of the moie youre talking about, and I'm a frequent user and contributor to the Internet Movie Database. But let's put it this way; I boycotted "Wag the Dog," when it came out, because I feared that it would be taken as a threat to the Presidency, even though I was no fan of Bill Clinton. The fact that there are people then and now who think it's a true story, prove it's not kids who foolishly believe everything they see on screen, but us grown-ups. I also saw "Team America: World Police" and frankly I wasn't too pleased with the ending. I'd prefer that the Jane Fonda's,Ted Kennedy's, George Soros' Ray Nagin's, George Clooney's and Michael Moore's of the world eat crow.

I would feel okay. IT'S FICTION.

What are you talking about:
"Thank you liberals for proving my point. You try to change the subject instead of answering the question. How would you feel if the movie were about the murder of a public person that you admire that is still alive?"

At this moment, NOBODY has changed the subject, and nobody has even said anything that would lead a reasonable person to believe that they're a Liberal.

YOU'RE CRAZY!

It's a British TV movie, US liberals have nothing to do with the writing or production of it. The screening is to be in Canada, and most, if not all Americans won't be able to even view the movie

"The film is to be shown publicly on Sept. 10 at the Toronto International Film Festival. After it is broadcast on More4, a digital channel that is free but only available to those with digital television, it will be shown on Channel 4, a nondigital channel that is the BBC’s main commercial competitor."

I think that the entertainment media has the responsibility to control
their behavior to serve the best interests of our society. I dont agree with many of Bush's "policies" or reactions as the case may be but I certainly donot condone any ideas about asassinating the man.
And I wish you people would hang up this BS about Liberal and conservative - good principles are that and only that!
I would just like to send "Wild Bill" Bush and his sidekick "Canonball" Blair back to the ranch. And to dis-arm their hired gun Olmert.
I would like to see a balance as a goal to promote harmony in the middle east. Not the mess that GWB is creating.

It's all about the box office, baby. If you look at Bush's poll ratings you can get an idea of the size of the audience.
What republican even cares about Michael Moore?
I don't think they would pay good money to see him get shot, do you? Not even in real life.

Here's another good question?

Of course nobody would feel any harm in it. Movies are primarily fictitious stories for entertainment and relaxation. It all depends on how it make you feel, sad, happy, concerned, afraid etc.

The only people who are bothered are tose who use movies to pass messages for possible occurences or actions they have taken or may want to take in future. And this people are the republicans through their sad inteligence officers who sabotaged government classified secrets into bedtime stories.

I find it hard to answer "what if" questions. Having said that, who the eff cares? It's a movie, it's not real. It's obviously meant to stir the pot and, judging from your reaction, mission accomplished.

Please do not write me off as a "liberal", as I am not one. I don't revere Ted Kennedy any more than GWB...

Yes they would. Also, remember, four Presidents have been assassinated. 3 Republicans and one Democrat. Four others attempted.
