OK so the best team lost. So the best team did not win the tournament. So the team onthe top of the podium will not be the widely recognized "best " team.
Hmmm. Where have I heard that before? Could it be just about every single NCAA tournament?
Hmmmmm. How could that be???
COULD IT BE BECAUSE BOTH THE NCAA AND FIBA TOURNAMENTS ARE 1 AND OUT? Is it possible for a great team to lose? Is it possible for the very best team to lose? How many Basketball teams finished their year undefeated? Hmmmmmmmm.

Everyone knows USA has the best basketball league in the world by far. No other league comes close. The best players in the world play in the NBA.
Look at spain. They have the best soccer league in the world with the best players but the national team is not that good.
I also think playes like Kobe and Shak should have been in the US team to support their country.

If the American players stopped focusing on how much *** they ****** at these tournaments, perhaps they would do better than expected. Mike K. is a wonderful college coach, but he can't keep massive egos in check.
I knew the Americans would lose to Greece - I want to see Greece take the whole thing and send 2 or 3 players to the NBA.

Baskeball is a team sport. You can't expect a group of young guys - who aren't yet in their primes to meld into a team with three weeks of practice and expect then to defeat a national team thats been playing for years. I guarantee the Team Greece would lose against the Heat, Mavs, Pistons, Spurs, Duke, UNC, OSU ......so on
