The liberals seem to feel that the conservatives are over reacting about this assassination movie. How do you think they'd feel if it were a movie about the murder of Ted Kennedy, George Soros, Ray Nagin, George Clooney, or Michael Moore? Do you think they'd still see no harm in it?

I think that it is disrespectful, if you direct a movie about someone being assassinated, it could be seen as a threat of some kind. As it's being made in the USA, and George Bush is in charge, if he was deeply offended he could stop the film producers from doing it. He, obviously, isn't.

Back in the old days, it was unthinkable to do a movie about the assassination of someone who was alive- much less a sitting president. Hollywood used to be really careful when dealing with a president's life to make sure the president was fictituous and didn't resemble in any way the current Commander in Chief.

I guess we have a new Hollywood low(as if it were possible going lower than the Mariana Trench they're already in).

It's a British TV movie, US liberals have nothing to do with the writing or production of it. Rush Limbaugh and other right wing radio shows have nourished this hateful myth.

The screening is to be in Canada, and most, if not all Americans won't be able to even view the movie

"The film is to be shown publicly on Sept. 10 at the Toronto International Film Festival. After it is broadcast on More4, a digital channel that is free but only available to those with digital television, it will be shown on Channel 4, a nondigital channel that is the BBC’s main commercial competitor."

I'm an independent, the only issue I have with it is that he is still in office. If it was 2009 and they put this out, I'd have no problem with it at all, because the risk of assassination is always there to every President. But, the fact that he is still our President, I think begins to border on disrespect and obvious political agendas.

George W. Bush is a moran. He should be impeached, and tried, and convicted of high treason of the United States of America.

Why not? They made a movie about the assasination of Jesus Christ! Who cares. Make a movie about anything! As long as it is good, thats all that matters. What's the big deal?

Jesus Christ was not assassinated.

Maybe the sayanim is telling us what will happen to Bush by laying the groundwork for such an event to occur.
