A few days ago the car attempted to start normally, then it just didnt do anything. No horn. No lights. The battery is full - a jump does nothing. When i take the key out of the ignition, the gauges flicker around for a few seconds. When trying to start the car, it doesnt click or even try to start. Any suggestions????

Your battery terminals clean? Are the wires making a tight connection?

Turn the lights to the car on and wiggle the wires on the battery to see if they come on at all. If not, take some jumper cables, connect them both to the negative battery terminal and connect the other end to the engine block to see if you have a bad ground.

Hello,

No horn, nor lights... I think you should start here :D

Are the 'battery' or 'check engine' lights on when you turn your key into 'ignition' ?

When one or more of your dashboard functions/lights are gone, you should check your fuses. You might have one or more blown fuses in the instrumentation cluster. When your 'igniton' fuse is blown, you usually can't crank because the solenoid which operates the starter, has it's supply from the ignition power line (no use cranking without spark or fuel, right ? :D).

So, I think you should check all your fuses and replace each blown fuse with the same rating (color-coded and Amper-rated).
When this does not solve the problem, you can also check the dashboard when you experience unexpected instrument behaviour. You can also check the ignition key unit itself (cables fell off or broken, unit broken etc.)

I hope this helps you !

Regards

Quite possible the ignition cylinder, or a relay. Go to a parts store and purchase a "Haynes" book for that model of car. In the front there is a troubleshooting guide. These books are easy to read and follow.

which ability there could be a ton of issues incorrect. First turn the main to the on place top earlier the automobile starts. hear for a mechanical sound. that would desire to be the gasoline pump priming up. If that would not take place you want a gasoline pump. next attempt to tug countless the spark plugs and take a examine out them. in the event that they're lined in black goo, that's fairly not solid and is why your automobile isn't commencing. in the event that they have a black powder on them and are lighter in shade in direction of the ideal it fairly is customary and not the undertaking. next try turing the engine if it sort of looks like that's spinning too quickly then your timing belt is broken and the automobile won't initiate. in any different case locate somebody with a code reader and notice if there are any hassle codes, if no longer your automobile is fried.

Make sure that the battery terminals and cables are free of corrosion and making a good connection. Follow the cables from where they are attached to the battery to the other ends and make sure that they are securely attached.
