She is pretty sad and frustrated, that man she once loved has changed so much and she doesn't recognize him anymore in the picture, even though she knows that it is actually him, it's called a poetical paradox. From a certain point she also sees herself as someone that changed too and both started to act like they are going to break up and split. At the end of the lyrics she suggests that if he changes back for the way he were things could get better, but he just stays that same one, she nowadays doesn't love anymore.

Its basically saying that the person isn't the same as when they started the relationship, they don't know each other anymore. They ahve grown apart and it feels as though they are strangers instead of the lovers they were at one time.

She's talking about how she had her husband (boyfriend? lover?) have grown apart so much that he's a stranger now.
He looks the same, he wears the same clothes, sleeps in the bed with her. . . but she doesn't recognize him because he's changed so much. He treats her differently, doesn't talk as much, etc.

Tamia feels that her man's attitude has changed so much that it seems like he's a totally different person. He used to be nice but is now mean. His physical appearance is the same, but his attitude has drastically changed.

It is about a woman confused of the relationship she is in...she can not tell who has changed more her or her lover....they have drifted so far apart that they are strangers and she doesn't like the person he or she have become.

She thought she knew the guy but now she sees she did nt know him as well as she thought ...she thought he loved her but he does not he s cheating on her and just comes to the house to sleep and eat etc...
