Why does your mom need to know what kind of underwear you wear? Buy your own damn undies and do your own damn laundry and then you dont have to worry about it.

Hi, don't worry and do ignore some of the answers on here - some people have difficulty talking to their Mums about such things, girls do too so you're definitely not alone.

Remember though - no matter HOW embarrassed you are - and I absolutely promise you this is true - your mum won't mind, it won't even be any kind of an issue for her and you'll have worried all this for nothing.

Just say to her casually next time you see her (or right now if you can) so you don't build it up in your mind or worry any longer "mum, I'd really prefer briefs to boxers, would you mind getting me some please?"

Your mum will NOT mind, not one bit and you'll realise there was no need to worry.

Best wishes

i would have thought boxers were more comfortable and less r estricting than briefs, not being a man i wouldn't really know, although my Children ( 3 boys) prefer boxers to briefs...If you want to where briefs buy your own if you are old enough , if your not tell her straight, it is up to you what underwear you wear

Just tell her. It's not like she cares if you wear boxers or briefs.

Just say.. "Mom, I need new underwear, only this time I want to buy briefs, not boxers." Just as simple as that, no need to be embarrassed.

tell mum which you have desperate to alter the underclothes which you often placed on, through fact you sense extra gentle in briefs, than boxers. See if she will start up procuring you briefs. in simple terms ask.

Who are these "people"? Is there something about your relationship with these "people" and your underwear that you don't want your mother to know? The point is, why would you feel more comfortable discussing how to broach the subject of underwear preference with your mother with said "people" than to just tell your mother you've decided to try a different style underwear. The plot sickens...

Just explain to her that you are the one who wears them although she may purchase them and that you are more comfortable in briefs. Maybe add that you do appreciate her for buying them at all. Know what I mean

Just tell her you want to wear briefs, i dont think she will get mad at you about it and even if she did just go and buy your own.
