I've just read a post from a hardcore Christian nut on the religion and spirituality forum. He claims that there are websites describing dinosaur and human footprints both on the same level ie layed down and fossilised at the same time! Has anyone seen this website and can they please direct me to it?
I firmly believe this is really bad and misleading science.
I'm not religious and I think this is total B.S. but I'd like to read about these "Facts" and maybe see some sort of image.

I've studied science in college.
I've also collected numerous fossils myself, which I've had carbon dated in my local college.
My personal fave is a fossilised tree stump, dated at 80 million years old.
The dinosaurs left the gig about 65 million years ago, while the first anatomically correct humans show up in the fossil record approximately 195,000 years ago.

It amazes me that some people firmly believe that we existed at the time of dinosaurs and earlier than that even though there is no evidence of burials taking place which would be the case if homo sapiens roamed the eath anytime between the triassic and cretacious periods of time.
It would have to take a monumental cover up from the scientific fraternity to hide the evidence lol
I believe there is a creation process however not in the way it is outlined in the bible

Although I agree with your contention, the cause of science is not served by such arrant nonsense as an 80 million year old fossil proved by carbon dating.
Carbon dating is only good to about 60,000 years - 100,000 tops under exceptional conditions. No carbon survives fossilisation even within that time period.

Even worse I think are these "compromise" nuts with their pseudo-science.
Have you seen that website where it shows the tectonic plates floating on water ? "Er.. OK then we have to give in , there is such a thing as plate tectonics but we believe that they are floating on water , that's where the water that created the biblical flood came from" I nearly died laughing when I saw that. So all the basalts that erupt from the beneath the earths crust manage to come through a vast underground lake but remain molten? It is the same with the human footprints found with dinosaur's thing. "We have to admit , dinosaurs existed we can't deny it now, we see the skeletons in museums .... well we can't be wrong though, we never are, but Adam an Eve were there with them too!" No doubt they used to hunt Archaeopterix with bows and arrows, they were easy to catch you know,as they could not fly very well, thats why they died out, they shot them all .

The simplicity of some of these dolts is amazing.. they amaze me about as much as those that call theories facts..
A. it's not science. and
B. it is misleading but that it's intent.
Since Lyell religionists have felt quite defensive.
while most scientific theories have flaws, certain things are known, chemicals decompose at specific rates. Carbon 14, or strontium decay and this decay can be measured. The insanity of certains sects that view the world as being only 6006 years old, is like saying the earth is flat. We know different and discount these idiots for who they are.

If you ask me there is only one thing to know about God:

He seems confused, there is an agreed sixty or so million year gap between dinosaurs and humans, unless some bad science is looking at dinosaur descendants, such as lizards, crocodiles, alligators, etc which have barely changed in aeons.

Funny, I feel exactly the same way only in reverse! I think evolution is B.S. and even Darwin had to make up the 'missing link'-- pilt down man. That's an interesting "fact" too.

I think it quite possible animals, even dinosaurs, and humans
lived at the same time... why would this be a religious conentation ?, not to mention spiritual ??

There are all kinds of crazy site and tv programs that say that. Kent Holvind (not sure if the name is spelled right) is one of those wackos.
It sucks that these people are misleading so many other people and making them just as nutty!!!
