How to email a Windows filesystem from one PC to another?
My friend have tons of Mp3 music in devotional songs. I asked him for a listing of all the files so I can select some. He said they are scattered across several directories and I dont have time or patience to get directory listing of all the directories.
Why doesnt Windows explorer have a way of being able to select multiple directory locations then saving the filesystem listings only in a file format something like .exp?
Then I would be able to open my explorer and open this file and select the files I need and mark them in some colour and save it and email the file back to him then he opens it and it merges with his filesystem identifying those files that have been selected. Then he will need to be able to multiple select several files in several directories (something that is not currently possible with windows explorer) at the same time and copy+paste them into a different folder zip them and sendthisfile.com to me.
The biggest thing that needs to be fixed in Windows is the Explorer. And they are bringing Vista with just prettying up the interface and it amounts to no useful improvement.
