No there is a break in the story where the society called the priory of sion is involved. The story of this alledged group and all its history was a fraud. Three Frenchmen cooked up the whole story of that group and forged all their documents. The head of this canard a Monsieur Oontard confessed under oath and made a sworn affidavit stating that he and 3 or 2 others cooked it all up the 1950's. The author of the book does not specifically aver that the sytory is true either. It is an excellent work of fiction. Tony Robinson, of the Blackadder comedy series of seried did a show with exhausted research and travel investing all facets of the story and determined that the story was fiction. It has been shown on several specialty t.v. channels. Several other investigations have come to the same result.
