I have three people with disabilties that I would like to build a duplex for the three. I have been told that the disability act can help me with the building of the house to accomodate them with their disability. does anyone know where I can find the info.?

i believe that disabilities is covered under social security act. there are also government programs and grants out there. i would start with the state government of your state. are any of your disabled people ex-military. try contacting the vets administration. good luck.

hi i have had an extention built cos i have taken my sisters children on cos she died u need a referal from social services to a occupational therapist for a disabled facilities grant u have to push beacuse they showed total ignorance at first until i pushed if you want to email me for further tips let me know it took 2 years but i have an extra bedroom at last ha ha you can email me at any time thanks debbie
