After reading 2 books on islam (can't remember the names over 8 months ago). The authors said that Muhammed actually created islam by taking teaching from the Praetorians.(a group that was kicked out of the catholic church for teachings contrary to thecatholic church.) The books also pointed to jewish mysticism (sects similar to kabbllah). After studying those two gruops the claim that he wnt into the cave and he formed Islam.

well u either believe muhammed was taken up to heaven on a silver horse and came back with the word of god, or u believe that he was tired of the hypocrisy of catholism and decided to change it, personally i believe he took the best of different teachings and made his own religion
of course islam will slam me for that but i have studied catholicism, judaism and islam
it doesnt matter were he got the beliefs from if u believe, any more than catholics belive in the immaculate conception
the important thing is the belief in the teachings

i think that islam teaches you the best way, i myself am islamic. i was not born islamic though. i was raised luthern. it is a change, but a change for the better. although i used to think the way you do, i now know the truth. you should look further into these things, see both sides before you write these kinds of things.

ha my tale is humorous, i began out relationship my boyfriend in Jan 07 and had no thought something approximately his relatives.
