I wonder if he omitted the murder in order to get back home and out of Bangkok to keep from getting into trouble over there. And did he also know it would be a free ride home

Yeah, I think that he got in trouble in the Philippines and this was his ticket home. He did not omit the murder though he admitted to the murder.

He is in trouble all right and in Thailand, the government is trying to proof to the world that child sex traffic is not acceptable and the Thai used him as a trophy and he could not handle the sentence in Thailand because,the prisoners will finish him off. They do not like child molesters.Mr. Carr got his 15 minutes flame and he may write himself a book or have a deal for making movie. He knows what he is doing and now the real Killer of Jo Bonnet can not eat or sleep because, the story will never die and the truth will come out and it will be soon. trust me.

I figured he thought he wanted the free ride home, the attention and he thought he'd be thrown in jain and wanted all of the back door action from the prison inmates - probably has AIDS already so didn't care if he were reinjected again in jail. He is sick!

Yes he did...he was in trouble with the Thai government, so he lied about his former association with Jon Benet, just to be extradited back to the US to avoid prosecution in Thailand. But don't worry, he still has to answer A LOT of pedophilia charges here in america too...

I read that he was emailing someone for a quite a while (years?)before the US picked him up. Doesn't seem like a quick free ride home, otherwise he wouldn't have taken so long to identify himself. Seem to me he was just obsessed with the case and wanted credit for doing it (or convinced himself that he did it)

i agree with you...he didn't want to go to jail in a foreign country for molesting a child....i don't know that they do over there to men like that but i bet it is just as bad or worse over there then here.
