It is only September 1st and up here in Calgary it is nice, sunny and warm BUT has a feel of "pumpkins in the air"!! I don't remember it feeling like this so early back home in the States?

No it's not just you. It feels like fall down here in America where I live in Pennsylvania. It's been raining on and off all week and the temperature has been only in the 70s during the afternoon, but only in the 60s at night and in the morning, so I'm actually loving it. I'm glad that summer has ended early.

Oh absolutely, it is starting to get dark a little bit earlier and there is the occassional breeze that wasn't felt a few weeks ago. It excites me! I typically HATE cold weather but , for some reason, this year I can't wait for the air to get crisp! I'm ready for Halloween and being bundled up in my peacoat and the hustle and bustle of the holiday season!

I'm in Halifax and man the wind is just blowing us all over. Last night me and the girls went out and it was freezing outside. Autumn has come to soon. Today it is sunny but the wind is still blowing strong.

Yeah, and it's gettin cold too. Just before spring, when it was raining a lot, you could just feel the spring coming. You could smell it in the rain. I'm never gonna forget that smell.

It definitely feels like fall is starting to slowly creep up on us.... I've had to close my bedroom window at night because I think it gets too cold now.
