They didn't mention it in the cartoons. It was just about a Tarzan wanna-be named George with his girlfriend Ursula and his pet "dog" Shep (an elephant that George refers to as a "big, gray doggie").

Somewhere in Eastern Africa. Maybe in Tanzania, Uganda, or Kenya. But I think they mention Kenya in there, I'm not too sure. But it's somwhere in one of those three countries.
