The nice guy wasn't good enough for you the first time around; but now that you've been slapped around, cheated on, and have 5 kids, all of a sudden that nice guy is perfect for you, even though he hasn't changed a bit. Why is that?

They wanted the alpha male genes as those are 'survival' genes, the superior product.
Now they got the alpha male's kids, they want the provider type to raise them.
This is just evolution in action.
It's too bad most women can't tell the difference between a real alpha and a non-alpha piece of trash who fakes it with violence and attitude.

Not all women are so mistaken.
So many are though, they go head over heals for the guy with the $2,000 motorcycle that has been with 20 different women.
But the nice guy with a $5,000 car, she laughs at.
Maybe their mothers did not teach them the right things?
Then many also ask "where are all of the nice guys" well, most are not zipping down the street in a motorcycle or living at the bar.
They continue to fish in the shallow end of the gene pool!
Wait for a good person to marry! They are out there and worth the wait!

Our culture does not embrace Biblical values anymore, the familly unit has become largely dismembered, there is no rule or authority over women anymore, and our society as a whole is paying dearly for it.
We have the "Oprah generation" of women, who are not only empowered, but self-seeking. Almost none of them can hold a relationship together, because their values are all jacked up. I am not slamming women, although it may sound like it so far in this answer. The responsibility lies upon Men & Women, and their responsibility is before the Lord God. He has a desired structure and order to the home, and to marriage that is proven to work - IF the people involved have Him taking first place in their individual hearts and lives. The only reason why it hasn't worked in the past is because people didn't keep Him in His place, they didn't obey Him - they didn't love others as themselves and put others before themselves.
The values in our nation lean heavily toward the pornographic...hmmm...let's see here...I wonder why that is? We value the pornographic, and satisfying the lower desires rather than loving people from a heart that loves God and values what He says is most important.
So what does that leave us with? The majority of people running around trying to "get mine." and doing it at the expense of everyone else. And so rather than learning the lesson at church and in the home from a loving father and mother, they are learning first hand experientially, why what they think they want - is not really what they want.
It's just like, "why are all the teen age girls getting pregnant?" Because they have no authority in their lives, they have no truth being given to them, because the secular media of this nation pumps a message of valuing sex over love to them on a daily basis (if not hourly) through the popular music and movies and television.
It's time for people to start waking up and to get a clue. God is for us, not against us. He wants to help us, but we have to obey what He has told us in the Bible. He told us what to do and what not to do for our own benefit, because He loves us. As long as people are bent on doing things their own way, and however it seems to be right in their own minds at the given moment, they are going to be making screwed up decisions that mess up their lives and the lives of those around them.

ive noticed similar things too. It takes SOME women tiem to realize how good being with a nice guy can be. Appriciation for the nice guy takes awhile. but y do you care you get the chance that you wanted, not on your schedule or list of curcumstances but you coudl be with her, just enjoy it. it is just the way of the world

Because women don't really want the good man because then they would be subject to standards and have to be good women. She still needs security and doesn't have the energy anymore to play the game(s).
Don't take her. It's a trap, because she still hasn't seen the light and will drag you into her hell.

Hun, to be honest not each and every lady likes "undesirable adult adult males". i honestly am rather shy, so i might extremely have a extreme high quality guy who respects me and makes me laugh. extreme high quality adult adult males at the instant are not uninteresting. certainty learn i would not sense gentle with a bad guy besides.
