He was reelected because he represents the values held by the voters. When you see and hear him, you are getting a dose of the inner soul of the people of New Orleans. That is why it was such a pit before and isn't going to change into anything other than a pit.
I think it should not be rebuilt. The taxpayers should fill in all the low spots and make a park out of it. Because it will be flooded again.
