They make fun of blacks for having weaves, asian girls for having highlights but a lot of white women have fake blonde hair (majority of women are FAKE blondes), fake tans, fake nails, etc. Please explain this?

In talking terms of physical appearance, they seem to be the most FAKE of all races.

I know this question sounds harsh but some white people are always talking about how fake other races are, but when looking at them, they seem a lot faker physically.

It is not that I hate white women, I was just curious because I always hear these comments on t.v. shows, movies, media, radio, songs, etc.

Response to justguess45, what are you naive, most women who have blonde hair are not true blondes, maybe when they were an infant or a very young child. DUH!! They might proclaim that they are a true blonde (from childhood) than it turned into a brown. Then came the bleach!

I think it's human nature to make ourselves appear to be more attractive than we naturally are...and sometimes we might get a little misguided about what other people think is attractive.
Having said that, I'm a white woman, with naturally blonde hair, I'm as pale as a ghost (I only burn, I can't tan) and I hate fake nails. So, I think for every fake woman out there, there are many more real women.
But you do have a very valid point, and I think it's an American societal issue. Friends of mine from other countries have mentioned to me that clothes, hair and make-up are not nearly as important in their countries as they are in the US. I think it's our infatuation with celebrities, but that's just my opinion.

You are generalizing about an entire group of people because of the actions of some and that's a racist thing to do. You will be in trouble with the other people who answer this question if you get any answers at all. I don't feel like calling you names today. A lot of people have racist opinions, just like some of the people you have mentioned. Is it ever a good thing? Racism convinces you that you know something about a person just by the color of their skin or whatever. You don't.
Try to be more careful about the statements you make. The majority of women are not fake blondes. There are very many women with blonde hair who got that hair color out of a bottle, but there are many other women who are not blonde or are naturally blonde or have red hair from a bottle or brown hair naturally or artificially and on and on.
Fake hair/ fake nails/ fake tan/ lots of make-up is one version of fashion, but it's not really done by "a majority" of women. I don't think you could even still say that "most" African American women get their hair straightened.
And what are tight jeans if not a way to look like your butt is smoother than it really is?
Your question indicates to me that you have recently had an experience of some sort with a white woman who had a lot of special effects. They're not all like that.
I hope this helps. Try not to hate nice people.

As a white female you may be shocked to find that I agree with you on some level. I have only 2 female Friends in relation to that question. As for the reason, here is my theory through my experience. I believe that black women are stronger in self esteem than white women tend to be. Black women, for the most part are proud. Exactly why white women have less self esteem may stem from many explanations. What ever the reason, when anyone suffers from low self esteem they often strive to ' be someone else'. I also feel that people suffering from low self esteem will engage in criticizing others.. This produces a false sense of superiority, control and justification for unacceptable behavior. Let's add in to the equation addressing the emotional level of females in general. Women, to my experience, more than not, take issues to extremes. Of coarse, this is mealy opinion, not fact. I hope that helps. Well wishes... and I don't color my hair or have fake nails. All in good humor and good intentions!

Why is everybody being acting like white people are the Devil. I work in the beauty industry. I get paid to do highlights, weaves and all the other "fake" stuff. I do whoever's hair whenever. I've never had anybody talk about other races being more fake than others. RELAX. Maybe you should move to my town. We don't care...We're all fake.

I can. A white female with a tan looks better than one without it. If natural tan is not available, they go get them some fake.
As for the blond hair - if that suits them better, let them have it.
But if you ask me about the nails I don't understand it. It's impractical and looks horrid.
And there is one more thing you forgot - high heels. For the life of me I can't understand why they put such a ridiculous stuff on.

WOW, are you bitter? Who peed in your wheaties this morning.
You are just propogating more stereotypes!!
I am a white woman, and I do not tease anyone for weaves, highlights, dyed hair, fake nails or anything. everyone has a right to their own style.
I also happen to have NEVER dyed my hair, worn fake nails, gotten a fake tan, etc. Yes, I glow in the dark, but I avoid tanning beds AND the rays of the sun for my own health. WHy must you think that EVERY SINGLE PERSON in one demographic behaves the same?
This makes YOU look like the ignorant, intolerant and uneducated person in this argument you created for yourself.

I agree. Not to be racist or anything because I have some white friends that are not fake. But there are white girls that act like they're superior than other girls. I have no idea why.
Blacks have weaves.
Asians get highlights.
So what? It's their choice to do so.
And white girls want to be tanned, and want to dress up like A&F models even though they're not. And yeah, most of them are fake blondes. And oh yeah, it's annoying when they talk with "like" after every word.

Sounds like you might be a bit racist to me. People make fun of people that is human nature. What difference does it make who is doing the poking fun of and whom too, its all in fun. A blond will be the first person to make fun of her hair, her tans and nails and her mental capacity. "White women" as you refer to us are just as nice, fun loving and UN Fake as YOU

I'm a white woman and I don't make fun of weaves or highlights. So don't lump all white women together. You're being just as racist as you are accusing them of being.
P.S. I don't have fake nails, a fake tan, etc.
