I need a good car for my character for my novel, as a bit of research purposes. I can't decide. You guys are the experts in car. My character is a 30-year-old female agent. Give me full details to be awarded 10 points: make, brand, year, color, inside, exterior, etc.

She's been in the FBI for 9 years. She makes $48,000/year.(She'll be a senior grade special field agent in three years.) She wears comfortable clothes offduty and formal wear for work, like a dress suit or a dress. She's nonmaterialistc. Does this help?

I forgot to mention that the yearly salary changes. So she makes around $70,000 a year.

It depends on the field office she's in. If she's in a small field office, like say Springfield, Illinois, then she's probably driving something decent (and most definately with 4WD in that office). If she's in a larger office like NY, LA, SF, or Chicago, then she'll be lucky to be driving anything with under 100,000 miles on it. Possibly a 2000 Impala or a Monte Carlo.

How much money does your character make? Is she concerned with "keeping up with the Jones" or is she non-materialistic? What kind of clothes does she wear? We need a little background info before we can pick an appropriate car.
Yes, that info helped. I was thinking maybe a Ford Explorer.. it would allow her easy access to places she might not be able to drive in a smaller vehicle. An all terrain vehicle of some sort, a few years old. Good luck with your novel!

Some Drive Late Model Black or Blue Ford Crwon Victoria withb blue interiors or tan and others drive late model Chevrolet Impalas same colors 2003 to 2006 V8 for Crown Vic, V6 for Impala

30 Year Old practical FBI agent.
Work vehicle- 2004 Ford Crown Victoria 4 door. Blue exterior & Interior w/ police package, 351 V-8. She gets to take her car home with her.

I would have to say she has 2 cars. One for work and one for the days off. I would not want to be an FBI agent all the time. Maybe a Impala for work and a Convertible Corvette for play

hmm I think a good car for her to drive would be a 2003 or 2004 chevy impala cause they are nice cars and also are drivin by many FBI agents in real life
