I want to knit my first sweater, a simple v-neck for my toddler with a bulky yarn. I have found patterns online, but none make complete sense to me. I need a good book with a clear pattern and instructions for a beginner, what do you recommend?

Last Christmas, I knitted my first toddler sweater. I used "I Taught Myself Knitting". However...
I also referred to Lionbrand yarn website (see site below). On that site they have free patterns available to print or download. The pattern are from easiest to advance knitters.
