i've never been fired but i've had an observant boss ask me to quit coming to work stned, geeked out, drunk, but he would'nt fire me bc i was the best waitress there.

Yeah. One day, when I was working at an ice cream parlor. I was late (about 10 minutes) that day. This was my 3rd day late. Anyway, we got robbed that day. I was the only one in the store and dude decided after talking w/ me for an hour, he would rob us (as if I wouldn't be able to identify him later). Anyway, after taking what couldn't be more than $30 from the drawer (we didn't get a lot of business), I contacted the police, then the owner. She never once asked if I was okay, considering that the guy had a gun.
Anyway, the next day I went in to give her my apron and name tag, because that this point I didn't want to work there anymore. She goes "Well, I need to let you go because you were late again yesterday". I said "No need, I don't want to work for you anymore anyway".
And that was the end of my ice cream scooping career.

Yes I was fired once. I worked at a Subway. It was me and one other worker who wouldn't teach me anything. After a couple of weeks they only gave me 5 hours a week and I still wouldn't quit. Eventually they gave up and fired me on the 89th day so that I couldn't claim unemployment (at that time you had to work at a job for 90 days to claim).

Yes I got fired for not smiling enough, I always smile, I work in an insurance company with all girls so there was always drama and it was hard to fit it, so they let me go.

Yes once when I was young. It was a kick in the teeth. I didn't like the boss anyways he was a hypocrite.
