When I was younger the ring scared the living crap out of me and I sleept under my blanket the whole night. But now I am a little older and they don't scare me at all, nothing is scary any more. I can just watch a movie and go straight to bed with my closet open, and I am fine. But my brother man! He is like 13, and he usually doesn't see scary movies alot. So we went to see Pulse like a week ago and at like 2 in the morning he comes in my room and is all scared so he sleeps on the floor, an I had to get him blankies and everything. And then at 4 he kept bugging me to shut my closet, sooo finally i just did, and he wouln't leave untill it is sunny so at like 8 he finally left! My gosh, my brother is a baby.!

When I was a kid I went to see Halloween, and walking home from school when it was dark outside was kinda scary.
Also the original movie When a Stranger Calls was creepy too, "have you checked the children?".
Salem's Lot was creepy too, at night when a tree branch scraped my bedroom window, I thought it was someone trying to come in.
I was basically a scared-y cat, afraid of my own shadow.
Not so much anymore now that I'm grown up. But today I don't like watching UFO programs or movies in the dark alone.
Go rent them at blockbuster and you'll agree!

Well, Im all about horror flicks, they ususally make me laugh and don't really scare me. The only one movie that made me think for a while was "Final Destination" (the first one, the rest were garbage). After coming out of the theatre I remember thinking "anything can pretty much kill me in this room" stuff like that. I started being more aware of dangerous surroundings. Just for a while though... Im over it.

I don't watch scary movies anymore because they make me paranoid about the silliest things - mostly sounds that you hear at night or afraid to walk out to the car at night (I know there is some reasonable fear there, but after I watch scary movies, it turns into something way beyond reasonable.)

Thats the good thing about scary movies, feeling scared. If a movie is really good, you sleep with the light on for a couple of nights. :O

Um, it depends. Most of the time it takes a while. If it's scary movie, sometimes I'll freak out a bit after, then I'm okay, then I'll freak out again. It also depends on the movie.

I know it sounds stupid but Final Destination 3. At the end there is this intense train crash. I stayed up all night thinking about it, it even made me cry. I went on a train and started freaking out. But, I guess the more important issue is that my 39 year old uncle died in a horrific train accident. That's why it bothered me so much. :{

I'd have to say SCREAM. When that movie came out, it made you wonder if any of your friends can be like that. not to mention that it's possible for things like that. But I'm only talking about the first one, not the second or third

Jaws did that for me. I wasn't comfortable in the water for the longest time. I kept hearing that...Daa Dumm...Daa Dumm music, and I'd start looking for big fins heading my way! Then I did see a dolphin's fin, quite close to me near Savannah GA, and freaked for a second till I saw what it was.
