The usual tourist attractions are Pike Place Market, Pioneer Square (the Underground Tour is very good), and the Waterfront. Also downtown, you could take them for a ferry ride to Bainbridge Island and back. It's cheap and they can get a great view of the city from the boat.
Another idea is the Hiram Chittenden Locks in the Ballard neighborhood. The king salmon are running through the fish ladder right now and it's pretty interesting to see.
You might also try the Woodland Park Zoo, the Japanese Gardens, or the Museum of Flight.
Hope you have a good time!

Hmm, Well hope this helps u some if any. What i would do is try to find out before they come or while they are on their way what they like to do/hobbies in the spare time and what they like to eat. then i think you can look online in your town as far as the events that may be taking place. there is a onlne map that you can even look at to see what is around you and where to go and what to do in you city town state etc.

Pike Place Market is a must. Take them to a restaurant with really big portions, they will think that's fun. THere's a crab restaurant on the waterfront where they cover the tables with newspaper and you crack crab with a mallet. That's always a hit. A trip to Vancouver is almost mandatory....

Pike Place Market. Take a trip to Vancouver. Go to St. Helens or Rainier. Go look at Microsoft headquarters (they will LOVE that). Go to the pier. Soooo much to do in Seattle, you are one lucky person.
