No alcoholic things though, I have work the next day. Just something low-key and affordable. And no, there are no beaches near me...so don't say go to the beach.

You don't have to drink it...but celebrate that you can buy a beer legally.....buy one show your ID proudly and then go do something fun to celebrate that you are yet one more year closer to a miserable old age where everything on your body breaks down.

Congratulations, you are officially a big girl now! Take your Mom out for lunch or have a picnic lunch in a quiet spot and really enjoy each others company. That means no arguing! Thank her and give her a big hug and a kiss. She was there for 21 years and knew you before you did! Keep in mind that "you don't know what you've got till it's gone". Remember you only turn 21 ounce in a life time. Make it special!!! Have a party with all your friends and loved ones. Enjoy yourself you don't have to drink in order to have a fun time. Turn the music on and party, have some games be creative. But most of all have lot's of fun!!! HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY!!!!

Studying from some of your answers I'd advise sitting down at your computer and reading about what real dictators were like. Find out how they came to power, what they did while they were in power and what it took to get them removed from power.
Use some of that intelligence you are supposed to have to think. and learn to quit exaggerating!

buy an alcoholic beverage just because you can and save it till you can drink it. go to dinner and maybe a movie with a sweetie or some friends....buy yourself something you've always wanted

i think you should do one of two things...#1-go out with your closest gal pals and just have a girl's night out w/ dinner movie or #2 you could go out w/ a bunch of your friends and just have it like a everyone sorta pays for themselves outting simple and short is the key

on my birthday , i thank my parents for having me..
then i give them each a mother's and father's day card..
it is the true mother's and father's day..
or i write them a personal note of thanks..
so take it as you wish ... a me day or a family day..
