tell you friend that it doesn't matter what you look like in the out side but what you are in the inside that counts because you can be a beatiful person in the out side but be a ***** in the inside and have nobody like you

I have a friend like that too, she's soooo beautiful and sexy.....she's a plus size....dresses great....and is an amazing person.. I told her if I was gay, I'd marry her. She's such a beautiful person. What I tell her is that she has to understand and be able too see that we are NOT our bodies....that's just our exterior. WE are who we are on the inside....the more we find this to be true, the poor body image will diminish. I think if she just believed the truth that she is beautiful than others would see that confidence (which is what attracts people in the first place) and this would no longer be an issue. It's difficult to accomplish in a "skinny = beauty" society! hope that helps! good luck!

She can do something about her plus size. She can diet and exercise. She doesn't have to wait to lose weight in order to be happy. There are some slim, pretty people that aren't nice. The kind of person you are on the inside is more important than what you look like on the outside. Is she a kind, patient, helpful friend?
That is something beautiful on the inside. Tell her not to worry about her looks. You don't have to be pretty to be happy and have a good life.

It's funny how a lot of people will believe what others say about them if it's bad, but they won't believe the good.
It's very difficult to convince someone with low self-esteem that they are pretty, smart, etc.
But don't give up.

Tell her to stop bitching and do something about it... If you have a problemthe get off ur *** and fix it... go excersize... eat healthier... 6 small meals a day... weight watchers what ever...
Complaining about it will get them no where and usually people only complain they are ugly just to get complimented... which is pathetic. If she was really that unhappy with it she would do something...
I think she is happy she is heavy because it gives her an excuse to complain and get complimented by everyone around her

Sometimes theres nothing friends can do. She may suffer from BDD, body dismorphic disorder, talk to the people closest to her and see if they notice it and if so it may be a good idea to persuade her to go and see a docter who will be able to provide medication.

There is nothing you can tell someone with a low self-esteem to change their minds. It's like your mom telling you that you are pretty...means nothing!

HER SELF-ESTEEM IS VERY LOW, UNTIL SHE SEES IT HERSELF THEN ALL U CAN DO IS BE THERE FOR HER. IT'S VERY HARD WITH A FRIEND LIKE THAT. I HAVE A FRIEND THAT WAS LIKE THAT UNTIL SHE FOUND SOMEBODY WHO LOVED HER, FOR HER JUST BEING HER AND NOT WHAT HE SAW. SO HER SELF ESTEEM BEGAN TO RISE. I REMAINED HER FRIEND TROUGH THAT TUFF TIME IN HER LIFE.
