No, actually Canada is not mirroring US foreign policy.
Out new prime minister may try to more, as seen in some of his actions so far. However, I doubt he can get his own government to change Canada's stance on issues such as Iraq, the "war on terror" etc.
You may want to look at the UK right now if you want an example of a US puppet.

Where r u getting ur information from?
I don't pay much attention to foriegn policy but I hardly believe Canada has any policys the same as the US. And if they do it would be because of the NWO, AKA the ones who rule the world. Organizations like the CFR and such.

The relationship between Canada and the United States is like the relationships maintained by siblings. When push comes to shove they love each other but that doesn’t mean they always like each other. Canadians seem to go out of their way to oppose the views of the United States. This is not very surprising when one considers that the population of Canada is comprised of colonist that were to scared to fight the british, slaves running away from the south, native Americans seeking refuge and draft dodgers. This is not to say those people didn’t have legitimate gripes, I believe they all did. However Aside from the French Canadians no other Canadians appear to have any kind of backbone. How sad is that? Canada’s backbone depends on the resolve of its French population. Don’t get mad, remember we love you … AH

Good question, and I think you will see more independence from Canada, as their economy continues to hold up while the U.S. dollar continues to slip.

puppets are usually out in front of the puppet master, not hiding behind their skirt. if Canada was not attached to us, France would have invaded and conquered them in a week.
