I read an ariticle a few months back that said married couples without TV's in their bedrooms have sex an average of 8 times a month. Those with TV's in their bedrooms have sex an average of 4 times a month.
I'm not sure how accurate that is, but that is what they said.

I saw on tv that the average is 2 times per week. Of course if the average is 2, there might be a 0 and a 4. Do whatever comes naturally, whenever you're in the mood and don't rely on statistical polls or national averages. It's the unconditional loving relationship that counts the most. If your both happy with 1 or 7, thats what really counts.

I don't think there SHOULD be an average. It should be about you two. I know my husband and I have been together for 8, married 2.5. We usually have sex about 4 times a week. Some weeks are less, some more. Just depends on things. If you aren't satisfied with how often you are "getting it on", lol, then initiate it yourself. Do little things, like, put on a sexy little outfit while he is watching football or something. My husband, believe it or not, loves it when I wear his t-shirts and have my knee socks on. But whatever turns you on. Good Luck!

There is no "right amount of times" to have sex in a week, month, or year. As long as you are both happy with the frequency everything is fine! As we get older so many things happen that interfere with that part of our lives (illnesses, taking care of elderly parents, children.......) so of course it will be different than when we were 20. If you're not happy with the amount of times, talk to your boyfriend about it. Maybe if you get married it will spice things up for you too! Good luck to you.

I would say at least once a week...but it depends on how active you have always been...if things have been declining lately maybe you should talk and look into ways of spicing up your sex life. There are so many fun things you can introduce to each other to add a little spice.

It all depends on how horny you both are and if you have children and if you both work or not.
If you have children and you both work then aproximately 1-2 times per week.
BUT if you have no children and you both work then aproximately 2-3 times per week.
But if you have no children and one of you works then aproximately 3-4 times per week.
But if you have no children and niether of you work then aproximately 6-9 times per week.
And if you want it to feel really good then skip a few days here and there for extra special sex!!

How could we possibly know your average? Count the number of times you have had sex and divide that by 520. That's your average.
