If you waited until the page was half loaded , and closed it , or did something similar , yes . If u see "extra" files on your computer , I suggest u do a virus scan as soon as possible .

You could be running programs that download webpage to your desktop even though you dont view them. Some of these common programs include spyware and malware. A common application Kazaa comes with adware installed. This is also quite common in some other applications. Some IE toolbars you might have downloaded also download webpages to your computer.

Even Yahoo Messenger using ActiveWords (the popup you see when you select something and point at the arrow that appears alongside it in a chat window) technology would download search results to your computer. So it is quite possible that what you dont consider "page not viewed" was actually viewed but you just dont realize that you viewed it.
