I recently moved and had my fish in a cooler. Unfortunately, they were in there about 30 hrs. I did check on them and putt stress coat in the water. When I pulled my largest goldfish out, his scales on the back half were very dry. Now they are white and peeling. He's moving around fine and eating, but it looks bad. Any ideas to help him recover faster?

The water did fully cover the fish. It could possibly be because my oscar died on the trip, I'm not sure. The water is now prestine. The other 2 gold fish have a few patches of white, but they aren't peeling.
