It's actually kinda the purpose of this site. Feel free to not be sarcastic and funny, 'cause it's not why we're all supposed to be here...We're supposed to be sharing knowledge with each other.

Much depends on the tenor of the question. Some people seek help with difficult questions of relationships; these deserve thoughtful answers. Some questions are simply bombast; these get snide or cynical answers. And so it goes.

It is good to help others and be a part of a community. Some questions show intolerance and prejudice of the askers. These make me sad.

No not at all. While I try to answer questions to help people as much as I can, I still find fun in answering some of the crazies that get on here late at night.
So you can still have both.
