I couldn't believe how BORING it was. The funniest things were Sarah Silverman's rip on Paris Hilton and that Six dude jumping on stage at the end. Oh and the tribute to Hype Williams was cool too.

extreamly. I thought Jack Black was there to improve all he did was follow the same lines. The JT performance wasn't bad neither was Christina's or Beyonce but they could've use a little more effect. The crowd didn't seem interested either.

I think the coolest thing was Shakira's perfomance. Too bad Wyclef wasn't singing live, but Shakira was GREAT!!
BTW did you guys notice that she's not blonde anymore?
I hated the way Jack Black hosted the event, I mean, he's not funny...
Panic at the Disco was really good. I was a bit dissapointed that Shakira and Red Hot Chilli Pepper only won 1 award, out of the seven nominations they had.

it was the worst thing i've ever seen!!! the best part for me was the hype wlliams tribute, when missy and busta performed they're old songs. beyonce was the second best moment and i only give her that credit because atleast she seemed to give some kind of effort with her janet jackson rythym nation remake.talented woman but i hate that song she performed. other than that the awards weren't worth watching, i wish i had missed it.

it was boring i liked beyonces prefomace tho it was hot and shakiras was ok it jus ain sound so good but she can really dance and Sarahs rip was funny to and the hype williams thing but thats all i think that ppl that should have won awards didnt and those who shouldnt have did and jack black was prety boring

MTV sucks and has for a long time, was cool for a few years 1982-1990 maybe once the orignal VJ's were gone so was what made MTV.

Wack as in winners and Jackass Black? HELL Yes. Wack as in performances..particularly Beyonce, Justin, Christina, and Ok Go?..NOT.
Word of advice MTV- stick to FUNNY comedians as hosts.

I rather enjoyed them. I was happy to see many groups win that were not expecting it, like Panic ant the Disco and Avenged Sevenfold!

I didn't like it....I haven't really watched the VMA's since the 90s and I'm 19...that says alot. The only good part was when AFI won because they deserved it after years of hard work. and when avenged sevenfold won, because of their hard work.
