i have just had my front room skimmed with plaster and i was wondering how long i have to wait before i can paint it?thanks for your answers.

you can paint your walls as soon as the plaster is dry. depending upon how rainy, and humid it is i'd wait a week 7 day's should be more than enough. the reason i know this again, is my husband is a painter has been for 24 years. custom colors by rob peterson

I will give it 24 hrs...then check it to see if it is dry.
