I asked this question a few months ago, and so did someone else a few weeks ago. Be prepared to get a lot of bibles and fire and brimstone thrown at you.
I'm not going to answer the question myself. But I think that any question that makes people think about Jesus as a human person, with normal foibles and temptations, is a great one. In this way Jesus becomes more real and less of a statue or abstract concept in the sky. So thanks for the question.

How should any of us know? We weren't there, and we did not see him doing anything promiscuous. Some christians say no, others say yes. And they all base it on the Bible, whether canonized or not.
We really don't know. Some books of the Bible -- the apochrypha -- aren't canonized, or considered part of the Bible by most christians. These are the books that are offensive and deemed "heretical". But the truth is we don't know. Those books weren't deemed heretical until the 3d century, so we wouldn't know anymore than the people that decided they were false.
