I have a tattoo on my leg and as long as it is done tastefully then I think it looks great . I don't think women need the big huge tatts but a simple one that looks like a woman then I say go for it !!!! I in fact want another one on my ankle with my kids names on it . My husband loves mine :D By the way not a **** or a biker lol

I think it depends on the place and on the tattoo. You also want to go to a tattoo artist, not some scratcher who can't draw, because a tattoo is more than just an image, it should be sized and designed for a specific area, otherwise it'll end up looking like a postage stamp.
As far as being proud or not, I think its a matter of the tattoo itself. My mom just got a Tibetean wristband and it looks great. I however, have no tattoos.

Women or men can look kewl with tattoos...it generally depends on the preference of the person looking at them...the content of the tattoo, size, and placement...
I'm female and I have two...I love 'em...one on my ankle and one on my lower ab area...
It shouldn't be a matter of being proud or embarrassed...it should be a matter of acknowledging that people have the right to do with their body whatever they want...and ink or no ink, doesn't change who they are inside...

Both my husband and I have tatts. I don't understand why having tats would make a husband proud? Trashy or not, or whatever people like to label us as. My tats are tasteful and a personal reflection of my life...oh by the way I'm an RN...see tats come in all classes of society

I have two. One is visible & I am complimented on it regularly. The other is for private viewing & this also produces compliments. I wouldn't be with someone if they were embarrassed by this. To me, that is a real turn-off because it is a sign of a closed-minded individual who has been spoon fed beliefs by the people he's blindly following.

I have three tattoos. Ive never had a boyfriend tell me they looked bad. I also didnt pick anything so outrageous Id be embarrased by them either. I like them and think they are a personal statement. I have one across my lower back and one on each arm.

well it totaly depends, if I see a lady with a whole arm full of tattoos I think that it is trashy, but if they just have something on there wrist or foot or back that means something to them I think that they are beautiful! Good luck on choosing one and I hope that it turns out good

Both my husband and I have been wanting to put a Tattoo. We both think it's sexy!!! It all depends what kind of Tattoo you get and were you get it. If I decide to do it, it's gonna be somewhere were only my hubby can see it!!! I also think it has to be something unique!!!!

NO NO NO!!and most men don't either tattoos should only be worn by bikers and sluts so you know who they are!!! I am not a prude I just think that women are to beautiful to mark up. I mean you wouldn't scribble on a Picasso whould you?

Embarrased or not, I just don't want my wife to have a tattoo, for the sake of our kids.
