Globalization, that's the answer. United Nations is weak for now, but plans are for those who makes the plan. Internet is the media to deliver the platform and unite many nations. You see it from Yahoo answers or MySpace. People socialize, shop, feel togather. Another issue who will control the global community? That's why security is the main issue too. You will see, very soon Internet will change to something global, but more safe place to be. Virtual reality will replace some part of reality now. Who will dominate then? Well again who has the power over global community? USA? May be. China? I doubt. Europe? Too late. We will see in 15-20 years. Go to Microsoft.com and look for egoverment concept. I think those who will control information will be in power, not oil kings.

Probably china, thay have a booming economy and billions of people for a stronger army. But not for another 15 to 20 years. So abandon all hope cause when that happens, there isnt enough prayer in the world to make the almighty forgive us for allowing it to happen.

You presume the US controls something now. I don't see where we even control our own country. I would say very soon. We have no interest in being masters or slaves.

I think soon we'll dump the worlds problems back on them. Let the muslims kill each other off, and let the French pretend they are running the whole show.

If we were running things now, would Osama be running loose in Pakistan, a communist running Venezuela, a Persian playing with atomic bombs, or a pot bellied dictator starving his own people in North Korea.

ITS A LONG WAY TO GO...I THINK IT WOULD TAKE ATLEST 50 YEARS or SO FOR ANY NATION TO REPLACE U.S AS THE SOLE SUPER POWER...
ONE THING TO ADMIRE ABOUT U.S IS THAT U.S IS NOT ONLY A NATION WITH SUPREME MILITARY MIGHT BUT TECHNOLOGY ITS MUCH MORE ADVANCED THAN OTHER PARTS OF THE WORLD...
SUPERPOWERS IN THE PAST HISTORY OF MANKIND WERE EITHER TECHNOLOGICALLY ADVANCED OR HAD MILITARY SUPERIORITY...AND DECLINE IN THAT ONE THING LEAD TO THEIR DOWN FALL...BUT U.S IS STRONG BOTH ECONOMICALLY,TECHNOLOGICALLY AND MILITARY WISE..SO ITS A LONG JOURNEY BEFORE ANY NATION EVEN COMES TO ITS LEVEL...

When Hannibal rises from the dead. It won't happen though, if you get the US angry enough they won't care about civillian casualities in Stealth Bomber strikes.
