Those aren't really 'contractions' so they're nothing to worry about. I'd probably try to get a little more rest if I were you, though.
Check with your doctor's office if you're really concerned; worrying is the worst thing you can do during pregnancy. It makes nervous kids.

I am 17 weeks pregnant and had an Ultra Sound yesterday, during which I got to see myself having Braxton Hicks Contractions. I couldn't even feel it. The technician pointed them out to me.
I think it is normal. Like others have already said it is your uterus practising for the big day. However if they get stronger or closer together you should go to the hospital. Discuss this with your doctor during your next visit.

I had Braxton Hick everyday from 20 weeks on until I was induced! Sometimes I even had them close together for about an hour. If they become steady and start to increase in intensitiy I would call the doctor, but otherwise your body is just "prcticing" for labor. They told me it was a good thing to strengthen the pushing muscles!

I started with Braxtons at about 20 weeks. Had them just about everyday, and had a fantastic, healthy pregnancy. Talk to your doctor to be on the safe side, but there's nothing wrong with it. Ususally means a big and active baby! I noticed that if I drank a big glass of water when the contractions came on, they would stop. Stay hydrated, and good luck!

No it's not too early. Braxton Hicks are normal. They are jsut practice contractions. If you think they are getting to strong though don't hesistate to go to L&D.

I started getting them at 6 months. My doctor said it was completely normal and everyone gets them at different times. He even had women that never had them.
