You can't MAKE a period happen - it happens in its own sweet time and fashion. Stress, anxiety, medications, a sudden drop in body weight/fat can all play a role in delaying or stopping menses.

If you haven't had sex (I don't know if you have or not - and I really don't care - unless that is the entire point of your little snit), then you've got nothing to worry about when a period is late.
If you've had sex recently and you're thinking you might have gotten yourself pregnant, then YES you have reason to worry. If that's the case, get yourself to a clinic or doctor and get things checked out.

Hey - just covering all the bases, you snotty little *****. Go to the doctor and get a pregnancy test. If you're pregnant - and if you're late, you just might be - then the sooner you figure out what you going to do, the better off all of us will be.

not a very nice approach but whatever. Stress is probably the reason for lateness, however, I have always found if I was stressed about being late and being pregnant, every time I would take a pregnancy test, I would start about the next day.

Naturally it happens on its own.
Artificially I am sure there is something that can be done but it is not available in stores.
By the same token how to induce lactation for a non-pregnant woman?
