the greatest football team in the world is at last going to compete with the worlds best,even if its just for one season we are gonna enjoy every second of it,i dont expect it to last,and to be honest i dont care,west ham are my club through good and bad times for the last 40 years,bring on the next 40 :)

Yeah, there are some jealous spurs, arsenal and manu fans who are calling this a dodgy deal. But what happens if this takeover ain't MSI and they keep Tevez and Mascherano, plus have funds to get us some more players, then what?
...and if it is MSI then who says Abramovich will have anything to do with it, it's probably a friend who wants to make things interesting in England by creating a rival team.
... and if it is Abramovich then how do you know he doesn't want out of Chelsea to do a much better team and leave Chelsea in financial trouble :) or he wants to prove you can run two rival teams at once successfully, and keep Tevez and Mascherano there to start the team off.
Never thought of it like that jealous fans, huh?

It looks like either MSI are going to buy them out or they are being used to inflate the transfer value of the 2 players concerned. Apparently the players contracts are with MSI and this kind of "transfer" is quite common in South America and some parts of Europe. But what the hell. Even if they only stay for a season what a bonus for the Hammers fans and the rest of the League.
