yesterday i asked a polite answer about how my hyena cart store looked to everyone, asking what they thought about it, and someone said they reported me for doing that. why? i thought yahoo answers was a way for people to get answers to their questions--my question was how does the layout and product range look? how is that a violation of rules? i wasn't "advertising" if that is what that guy was trying to tell me...i pay for that already on hyena cart so why would i need to do so for yahoo answers?
i am just a little upset because i always have used yahoo answers to get some of my questions answered for real life problems, and that just happend to be one...i don't have anyone around me to give me input so i thought i would ask the public. i think that is a stupid rule..i always tell other people good/bad points about their sites when they ask. maybe i'm reading too much into this...i just hope i still have my account or i'll be pretty mad at that guy who reported me. :-/

sorry..i didn't know where to post this..i guess i should have put it in a different category..but then again i'm sure everyone should know about the "rules" so i'm not going to delete this from here.

well, if you were honestly looking for feedback, i wouldn't worry about that one guy. some people are too uptight and LOVE to recite the community guidelines like it's their own personal mantra...let it slide. you've still got your account. best of luck!

if you have not received a violation notice email, then Yahoo didn't consider it a violation. You will not be suspended for one violation, so don't worry about it. Apparently he thought you were trying to get people to buy from your store, and that is a violation, but the way you worded the question did not lead me to believe that. You were asking for opinions.
