all of my friends who have tried that route have failed. you need to find a personal way to say goodbye. i've broken up 2x with people i loved. the first time i printed out every story and poem he ever wrote me and put them in a box with everything else, then deleted them from my computer.
the second time was very hard. i finally got over him when i got serious with my now husband.
btw, i have also thrown away the box.
you need to find your own healthy way to deal with it. you may even want to look into counceling if it is affecting you a lot.

You have to get your life back. Sleeping around won't change a thing as you don't love these people. Go out with your friends have fun but be on your own for a while.

Sleeping around certainly isn't the answer. If you love them let them go. If they have got feelings for you they may be back. Love can't be one sided. Be grateful that love touched you and move on with your life. Contrary to what is said there's is more than one soul-mate out there. Lots of luck.

Sleeping around is definitely not the solution! You need to get closure on this person and fast.
If u haven't already told them that u love them - and see how they react if they don't feel the same way then that's their loss!
Failing that u could try moving away - lol!!

Well, sleeping around definately wont do it, especially since love is not what you're getting from screwing other people. Time will heal it, but dont just sit around the house. Enjoy life, you dont have to keep having sex to do that.

like all the others say.. only time will heal... sleeping around can help in the short term but you'll end up despising yourself for allowing yourself to be used... you have to learn to have some self-respect and self-esteem and realise that although you may never stop loving him you have a life to live that's yours.. not his

Time...that's the only thing that will make you get over someone. Also, going out and meeting new people is a good way to get your mind off of things.
